Project creation

Create React Native projects from the VauCode command layer.

Start Metro automatically on the first free port in the 8081–8090 range or choose a custom port.

Build debug APKs using VauCode's managed Android environment.

Build and run, install an existing debug APK or launch the installed app.

vaucode react-native status

Check React Native toolchain readiness.

vaucode react-native create <project-name>

Create a React Native project.

vaucode react-native start

Start Metro on the first free 8081–8090 port.

vaucode react-native start 8082 --reset-cache

Start Metro on a custom port and reset cache.

vaucode react-native metro

Alias for starting Metro.

vaucode react-native build

Build the Android debug APK.

vaucode react-native run

Build, install and launch the Android app.

vaucode react-native install

Install the generated debug APK.

vaucode react-native launch

Launch the installed app.

Current source

ReactNativeRuntimeManager requires Node.js/npm/npx for React Native workflows.

Current source reuses VauCode JDK 21 and patches React Native Gradle toolchain expectations to avoid separate JDK 17 provisioning.

Kotlin compilation is pinned to JVM 17 compatibility while Gradle continues to run on JDK 21.
